Calf with a swollen front foot

Looks like he got it caught in something.I lanced it and got a lot of puss out of it and gave him 8 cc of agrimycin 200.He is close to 150 lbs.Did I do good? What else can i look forward to doing to him in the next few days? Will he need more shots and draining?I have him inside so I can doctor him more ,no problem. He dont have no open wounds or anything broken.Just a bad scrap above his hoof. Thanks much for your time....idontno

Spray the scrape with hydrogen peroxide as well, that stuff works for just about anything.

You might want to give the calf a tetanus shot.
