Grazing on rye grass

Hi,
I have a question about grazing cattle on rye grass. Actually this is past the "grass" stage, it is already starting to get a head on it! Can you graze cattle on this? I have heard that this is lacking in calcium, so we have been feeding them some minerals with more calcium. Help!

We graze our milkers on it all the time with no problems.

If this is the rye that the grain comes from, it will make the milk taste bitter unless the cows are taken off the pasture a couple hours before milking time.
