Finally!!

Today I got my hands on a Hereford-Limousin cross open cow and a Hereford-Angus cross heifer. I've been raising feeder dairy calves and have been waiting for the chances to get some breeding stock. Getting real hard to find beef cows and heifers around here that aren't selling for an arm and a leg. Bought them from a real reliable farmer that I've been friends with for a long time now. So happy I can finally start a beef herd.

I ahev not even found were I am going to get my stock from. I figure local auctions.

I am taking it once step at a time. Got to get my fence up first. I am now wishing I built it 7 feet tall.

Most have told me my 4.5 foot 6 wire all electric now. Was only going to be 2 electric will hold most anything. I guess the putting the posts in 4-5 feet deep and filling with cement was over kill.

I should have made it 7 foot and 12 wire and charged the state to house inmates.
