Mini cows

Does anybody know anything about the mini cows. They are supposed to be about the size of a shetland pony. We'd like to get a cow to milk but we don't need that much milk. Anyone know if thier good?

This was discussed on this forum not too long ago. Look back or do a search - I think it was covered fairly well...

I raise Dexters, one of the smallest breeds of cattle with sizes for mature cows averaging 36-42, bulls 38-44 in height. I would be more than happy to talk to you or put you in touch with other breeders here in Texas.
This year will be our Breeds first showing at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, a perfect place to see lots of animals and learn about this Dexters.
