I do! However, I do know that it is VERY dangerous, but while you are watching it it seems that for just that moment that the person is not REALLY getting hurt, as though it is just a cartoon or something.

DH and I watch them as often as we can and love watching those cowboys take on the meanest bulls working the circuit.

My boys and I watch it whenever we come across it on the TV. There's just something about it that's fun to watch!

Rodeo Country

I live in serious rodeo country. I know folks that make their living by doing the rodeos. It is a good market for wethered goats so the little children can learn roping. I just pray that the bull and bronc riders don't get hurt.

The thing about it I like is the fact the Bull is in charge of what happens, And the fact is he can hurt the rider too.Not many so-called sports where that can happen, Bull riding is On T V today Sunday Afternoon.n N B C ,If you interested..

I watched bull riding today. I don't know when the show was taped but it was in Las Vegas and they were talking about this one bull named Yellow Jacket that was being retired. I googled Yellow Jacket to find out how old he was, just curious as to how long they keep them around. This bull had a record of throwing off something like 83% of his riders.
At the end of the show they ran footage of the 5 worst rides (hang ups, stompings, hornings). It's a wonder these guys lived through the beating they got. I think my arm would come off if I got caught in the rope and got dragged around like some of them did.
Ouch!

bull riding

We love watching we go to all the local rodeo's as a family.. We got front row seat last winter at a in door show.. We had a blast. We have never seen goat roping.. that may make me feel a little sad.. I have about 30 pet show goats.

Does anyone remember Bodacious? He was bucking bull of the year one year in the mid-90's. I don't remember the year exactly. He was only ridden 6 times out of 135 attempts. Tuff Hedeman made one of the qualified rides that were made on him the first time he rode him. The second time Tuff rode him, Bodacious smashed Tuff's face. He was an awesome bucking bull, but he was downright mean. He literally tried to kill every guy who tried to ride him.

Yes, the wife & I watch every chance we get. We went to Laughlin and had front row seats when the PBR was there a few weeks ago.
