What is a safe wormer for a pregnant cow?

You can use either Cydectin or Eprinex with no problems.......no danger of causing abortions.

Would Ivermectin or Safeguard work? I sure hate to buy a bottle of Cydectin for just one cow.

Be careful about worming around this time of year. In our area we have to time our fall worming, due to grubs.

if your cow seems to be in good shape, don't worry about worming until after she calves. Just don't let her get too thin.

usually a local vet will give (sell) you enough for 1 worming.

I agree with KY GAL,
Here in Texas we have to be careful about what time of year we fall worm because of grubs also.

I wormed her about two weeks ago.She is beginning to put on a little weight.
