highland cattle?

I got a question? In Alabama u can have 1 cow pre acre! but I am wondering do this apply do highland and dexter cattle?

If your pasture can handle one cow per acre, it will handle 2 dexters per acre. Not sure about highlands.

good forage you must have there in Alabama .. then again you have a bit more of a grazing season than we have in Ohio Here its 1 cow to 3 acres in a good year for my highlands .. a little less acreage for dexters ..
Are you sure you are not meaning you are zoned for 1 cow per acre?...

We are also one cow per acre here in Arkansas. Two dexters per acre.

I have a Highlander and a Dexter. They are about the same size so I would asuume they eat about the same amount. Someone else said 2 Dexters, so I think it would support 2 Highlanders.
