Talking Beautiful summer weather.

The girls are out in force with the mid day temps running from the mid 50'sF to the mid 60'sF.
Here at home I have had more time to sit and watch them. There is still a couple of Mums in bloom they are covering till they are almost black, a few Chicory and Asters are still flowering too.
Mostly they are in the water. Water edge of the creek is lined up with bees as well as all the outside watering dishes.
In the years I have been keeping bees I can't ever rembember them gathering so much water this late in the year.

Same thing here. I put out a drip line for them because its dry. Those drip lines work great. They simply sit on the hose and drink off it. All lined up like they were ordering beers.

They are also hauling in at least three varieties of pollen still. One is dandelion, looking at the color. I have no clue what they other two are. One may be propolis and not pollen.

Fun stuff for certain.
