I would LOVE to have a nice plush RV. Of course, I'm in my 50s. Some people like to be able to travel, but aren't tuned into staying outdoors much. Some people live in their RVs. They might be there to see the sights, not necessarily camp. The trip itself is the adventure. Some older people are sensitive to the smoke from campfires. When I was young, I was into roughing it. No longer, though I love campfires and the outdoors. I just like my toilet, shower, and microwave in the RV while camping.

I'm sure they are enjoying themselves. Like someone said, "Different strokes for different folks". Sly Stone knew his stuff.

While I LOVE the idea of camping in the wilderness and roughing it,the actuality of it isn't all that wonderful...I actually enjoy having a toilet...

My parents bought a motorhome in the UK and we travelled around europe, quite fun and we weren't really roughing it as we had beds,a toilet, shower and the like.

I always kid Mrs oz that we are going to hike the entire length of the Appalchian Trail one day...

Whats great about all this is that even though the lines are evenly drawn, many of you like camping. So if you own a Holiday Inn , please remember to run generator during the day, and if you tent camp, it might be best if you found a place that allows tents only.I knew the last part but we skate on the edge at our favorite Campground , and stay near the edges and hope the R.Vs wont come close. This allows us public restrooms, and the kids can ride the bikes on pavement all day and then swim at our swimming hole. One of the kindest campers I ever met was a retired man pulinng a Holiday Inn. We arrived late that evening, my wife and I still hold jobs and we were tired hungry and firing up the Colemen when he walks over and sais, hey kids come over to our camp, and have supper. We would not normally have ever followed this guy but he had on a VFW hat and , you can tell the good guys still today. His wfe was a doll, and we talked for hours over good food and my Dad is a Veteran also so it was great, and the kids fell in love with the couple so much that they beacame pin pals. Different strokes for folks, but I will never want a Holiday Inn, heck I started camping as a baby with the tough birds, just us and the sky and the stars. It would be like fencing me in. Marty.
