Thanks for posting the pictures and starting this thread. I don't know much about chickens, and just had a vague idea what a chicken tractor would look like.

Could you please explain how you open it up to harvest and inspect? (the handle on the edge of the roof?)

How many chickens will it house?

Is the small red framed door on the side a real door?

Would you also please give some rough dimensions for the overall size, separate area sizes, and space per chicken nest.

I want to get some chickens soon and your tractor is an inspiration. Thank you.

WOW! That was amazing. Looks more like a permanent coop than a tractor! Mine will not look half as nice!(By the way, I don't know much about digital pics but isn't there a way to make the pic smaller? If it has something to do with your camera it may get more battery life out of it)

Yes, rabbit poo can be used immediately. Chicken poo needs to compost a few months or it will "burn" the plants. I intend to scatter clover seeds each time after I move the tractor, but so far haven't got around to buying the seeds. I did get a small crop of corn arising out of one place they had been parked over. It never formed cobs, though. I feed them the crop after it went to seed.
