The people are letting a large dangerous weapon run loose. Find someone to shoot it dead. You could always run him over too and then take them to court over any damage the animal does to your vehicle. Its not like it is some sort of endangered species or something. Lord knows we aren't going to run out of them any time soon. I'd make sure it took a dirt nap and I wouldn't lose a bit of sleep over what method I used to accomplish that objective.

That's all right, then. I don't suffer fools gladly, and I've been taking a bit of flak for it lately. I've known custard-craniumed cooties who've been proud that they've transported their problems onto someone else's patch, and I just wanted to make sure you weren't one of the mushy-meloned morons before I opened my mouth too wide.

When you say you have nearly missed him multiple times, since you mention you don't have a gun anymore I assume you mean with your vehicle.

Next time, don't miss him.

I don't accept any growling at me or my family or any threat to our livestock or actually any stray dogs on our property period. If I see a dog on our property, I grab the pellet rifle and shoot him in the behind.

If a dog threatens the livestock or even looks like he might threaten my wife, our daughter or myself, I get a real rifle and it gets disposed of.

I don't have a lot of sympathy for the dog, sure it isn't the dogs fault that somebody dumped it, somebody didn't train it to stay home or whatever. But since the quickest and surest way to protect our stock and ourselves is using a gun to eliminate the dog, that's what happens.

Keep in mind, it is just a dog, not another person.

If you need to put out the old reliable hamburger laced with a bottle of aspirin to get rid of that dog, then do it. You have given these folks lots of chances to contain the dog and change its behavior and they haven't done it and most likely won't.
