Mawna, that censor thing is totally way off base. It allows you to say "hell" but it won't allow you to say "su****ious." Stupid.
Healing.
Meditation. Sit in a quiet place; outside, your living room -- doesn't matter as long as you can find peace. Sit in anyway you feel the most comfortable. You don't have to go into any yoga or lotus positions or anything like that. Lie down if that's what makes you the most comfortable. It might take you a couple tries to get into the groove of all this.
There are several different visualizations that you can do to promote general well-being. I'll describe two of my favorites.
Shut out the rest of the world (make sure your phone is off too). Imagine yourself surrounded by a bright white light. You're very warm and comfortable. One by one go through each of the muscle groups in your body and make them relax. Imagine yourself breathing in that bright white light and let it penetrate to the bottom of your soul and throughout your entire body. When you exhale imagine the blackness of disease and stress leaving your body and dissipating into the air. Once you're through, slowly bring your awareness back to the now (there's nothing quite so disturbing as being jolted out of meditation) and get yourself a little something to eat while firmly grounding yourself back in this reality.
The other one is a little more visual. Once you've shut out the world. Imagine yourself walking down a forest path (or whatever environment you like the best). See the flowers and the birds and bees and maybe a couple other animals, let your imagination have fun. You're walking down the path towards the bottom of a valley. When you get there, there is a small bridge crossing a bubbling brook. Hear the music as the water runs over the stones. Feel the wood or stone or whatever of the bridge as you walk into the middle of it. You can see your reflection in the swift water below as you look over the edge. Imagine you have a bag. Inside that bag are stones. Pick out one stone at a time and "infuse" that stone with whatever is ailing you. Be it stress from work, or an actual disease. Imagine whatever it is flowing from you through your hand and into the stone. Focus on that image, the stone being full of the problem. When you think you've done that enough, drop the stone into the water and imagine it being carried through the water and into the ocean where the earth will absorb the problem. Again, slowly bring yourself back to the now and get something light to eat.
The most important part of these exercise is that you believe in them. You could visualize your problems as targets at a rifle range and you blowing them to bits with a Barret .50 caliber rifle. The visualization is not what's important, it's the emotion in you behind the visualizations that does the work. When you are building up the energy in the stones, you should be able to feel it building within you. A feeling that I liken to a great expectation, like you've been waiting for something for a very long time and it's just over the next hill. That's how I feel when doing these kinds of things. Then when you drop the stones (or blow up the target) that energy is released to do it's work.
It's also very important to believe, really believe, that what you've done has already worked. When you go out, as much as is possible, act and behave as if you have already been healed; and believe it.
If you feel silly while you're doing these things or if there are any doubts in your mind, I doubt that it would help. And I'm not saying that if you do them perfectly each time they will help either. But they have helped me in the past, so I thought I'd offer them to you.
Be well.
