It would run lights and tv and fan too(probably,and some really efficient cieling fans out there too!) during day pretty well,just use genny when you wash,and charge batteries at same time.

Its about balancing your power sources to the load,pretty easy when you get into it.

Personally,I would love that larger system,then I would gradually add panels and another controller.Solar is soooo cool,because it expands so easily and can be added to when you have a few extra hundred laying around.Dont need to buy it all at once,as Patarini pointed out so well.Im planning 1500 sg foot earth sheltered,and I would use that system to get started.

Partsonsale has a refer in their showroom,think it was running on just a 150 watt panel,may have been less,cant remember.So,really efficient goodies can be had.
