That was a very good article. It was very even-handed & it even presented the sawdust toilet without the ''ÉEWYEEU'' factor. I'm glad that we actually still have some reporters that are openminded about what many would consider to be a lifestyle that is a little on the fringe. The comment about the ''occasional rabbit diner'' was really low key considering that most of the people reading the article would be offended to some extent by the idea of people actually killing bunnies for food. It was a very positive showcase for the homesteading lifestyle. Congrats on all of your acomplishments.

I liked the article, too. I only wish it had been longer.

I would have also liked the article to be longer, but it was very good. The reporter paid attention and got things right.

Back to the original request

The reason your situation is newsworthy is because it is out of the mainstream.
I suggest you talk about why homesteading is a form of "emancipation" from governmental control of our food. It is the most fundamental right we are fighting for.

It's not too much to ask that our food not have poisons in it. Nor that our milk be unadulterated or our water lacking in fluoride and chlorine.

We are making choices because we can and to do nothing is to acquiesce to the status quo.
