Nasty dog owners should be thrown in jail forever

I am sure glad Quint doesn't live over here! He would be busy all the time shooting all the loose dogs we got over here. However, no one is going crazy over them because we all know where each one lives, they all get along, and they ALL go home when you tell them too. We are so lucky.
SOME ppl should get some sleep before they rant about killing dogs all over HT. Quint would not be welcome in Maine.
I don't agree on "dogs are dogs", my neighbor's dog got a total of 8 of my hens, and although my dogs watched, they would never kill a hen , they in fact hang out with them. (They are too scared of me for that) In fact, I bought my dogs, instead of a shelter, because they are bred to come when you call them and to give in to the Alpha (me). I have this thing against shelter dogs......but thats another thread.
My Mom used to train Pits by knocking them down again and again, because they were so stubborn. She started because she got tired of ppl not training them properly and then getting hurt. I never heard of them putting one down but I was little...but my friend has a shelter pit mix with her 2 little kids and she loves him. But he is a house dog, never let to do his own thing. That can help.
