What's it like living on a hill?
I see you went ahead and signed the papers Tango. But as other people have said, once you live there a while, you will be happy you found your place.
I live on top of a hill (luckily on the southern side, so I do get more sun!) and as everybody else said, it is WINDY! I keep thinking a windmill would come in handy.
We have a state road right outside the house, so driveways washing out are not a problem. However, even being on a hill, our basement has got water in it. About 3 times in the past 2 years, but last year was really wet. Our well is a hand dug well only 18' deep, so being on a hill doesn't elimate water altogether!!
It is a real problem on the lawn mower which I'm sure is why it is always being repaired, but we wouldn't trade our place for anywhere. In fact, it's been in my wife's family for over 125 years!
Good luck!
