Now that is NOT funny! We had to go to the Big City yesterday... state troopers stationed every few miles in the turn arounds on the interstate because people were planting cars all over the place.. high winds, blowing driving snow, ice under the tires..

I am sick of winter too! Where's spring?

Winter...what winter...I dont see any winter! We should have more than three feet of snow on the ground this time of year - we have mud. Mud season that began in February here in the Mountains of Montana. I hear tell we are going to have a fire season like the one in 88 when yellowstone burned. This will be our 8th year of major drought and we got NO snowfall to make a snow pack out of! A very scarey time indeed. I gets nice and cold, but does not snow. It also did not get cold enough -40 for the week that we needed to kill the pine bark beetles that are destroying our forests. Pray for Montana!

Ok...i here some winter complaining here...i was @ 48F on Sat, 63F on Sun and since then have dropped to the upper 20's the last couple of days (with lows nearing 0F @ night. The good thing is that the models never showed that kind of heat for last weekend(BIG BUST) which is good, because i prefer forecasts that error on the side of cold. NOW...your asking when spring is coming (Ontario?)...hah...you've got a while! Looking @ one very good forecasting tool(atleast getting an idea of what the next 10days have in store) i take a look @ the GGEM 10 day anomaly(thats the Canadian weather model) not good...not good at all (negative numbers are bad(if you hate cold!)

For us in upper midwest...keep those jackets handy...

I hate winter
