Last year while I was home sick with the flu, a young woman came to the door (I'm 10th of a mile off the road) and said she was from Mr. So 'n So's office and he wanted to know if my place was for sale. I said "No it isn't", she pushed the point and I finally said "Tell your boss that nothing I have is for sale", and she left. A few days later, a man stopped and asked me how much I wanted for my farm. I asked him if he saw a "for sale" sign and since he didn't why did he think my place was for sale? His answer was "Well, the place is getting really run down and I thought is was a bad divorce or something". At that point I told him to leave. I fumed about that one for days.
