Hi All

I am a WAHM to 4 children and I teach Sign Language to children in between the wife, family and homestead duties. (LOL)

I don't make a fortune but it certainly helps with some of the luxeries. We live in an extremly high priced area. One Acre of land here sells for $60,000! NO Joke!

Blessings,
Tracey

Do any of you do anything like data entry, transcription, web site maintenance from home as a job? How did you get into that field? Also, any other kind of at home jobs that a mom can do?

I have been writing for About.com for more than 5 years. You'd need to see if any of their available topics are within your knowledge scope, though. You write articles and stuff, and you get paid a regular monthly cheque.

My best friend and I are both @ home moms and we started Time Honored Designs face painting. We use professional stage makeup and have a HUGE list of faces and cheek art we do. acrylic paints are NOT for face painting if you have the slightest talent you can do this. Go to www.sillyfarm.com and www.snazaroo.com snazz has faces you can see and use for your own ideas. Winter is kinda slow for us but this is our first year at it. Summer festivals are the best time to work. During the winter we go to the local skating rink throw out flyers everywhere and we also get bookings for childrens parties....this job wont pay the bills but it brings in some and its fun!!

Windshield repair, easy to do with children as it normally takes less than an hour to do a break, depending on how cold/hot the glass is. I travel to the customer normally. Can be good money, a simple repair can be up to $50.
I only fix, not replace.
