Here in AZ, we got record snows in the high country. Coming weekend, there's a warm storm going to rain on that snow. Shades of 1983. (And a bridge that SURVIVED the flooding of 1983 washed out this morning on the Salt River. It was the ONLY bridge that survivedtheflood then!)

I've got 2" of snow on the ground up here next to the Canadian border. Temp is holding at 25*, so that snow isn't going anywhere. People are having all sorts of problems on the roads - a couple day's build up of black ice under a couple inches of snow...

I've got plenty of firewood, a fully stocked pantry, the generator is ready to go if we lose power, and there's plenty of hay and alfalfa for the critters. Bring on the storm!

Phoenix, Arizona is the only place in the world that considers water in the river bed a flood! :haha:
