I saw this show, too and it really bothered me - but not because of the dust mites. This woman's house was a disgrace and she really needed to be educated, but I think her grown daughters could have found a better way to do it than having a camera burst in on her when she was still in her robe and pick apart her house. I thought it was revolting to see them in the audience, all made up for the camera, hooting along with Oprah about the squalor she lived in. Surely grown women could have come up with a better solution - chip in for a cleaning service if Mom won't do it, or, for corn's sake - get over to her house and do it yourself! Buy her some new pillows and washcloths your own daggone self! But I guess then they wouldn't have gotten on TV.
The poor lady looked like a deer in the headlights sitting up there next to Oprah while the aduience and her daughters ripped her to shreds.
Perhaps her house would be as clean as Oprah's if she had Oprah's millions and Oprah's maid.
Sorry for the rant - I just was really bothered by the way these girls humiliated their mother.
