..................Well , Rose , IF I was closer I'd come over there and light your fire for ya :haha: , but I do have a Solution for cold feet . What , I like to do is turn my stove completely off when I hit the sack. Then , I run the electric blanket at night and usually , it will only drop down to about 55 degrees inside of my living area at night . But I sure burn alittle gas when I first get up till it warms up a bit .fordy..

HOLY CRAP!

I'm moving to Texas to see if Hank and Peggy can get me a better deal on propane.....

Our hunting cabin just cost me $225.52 for 74.7 gal propane....that g-darn hubby of mine was hunting all of November and too lazy to get up in the cold to fill the woodstove left the furnace on 65....its a hunting camp with 8 cord of wood just outside the door and on the way to the outhouse.....

Next year I'll be fixing the furnace so it doesnt work.....

BTW we sit on styrofoam in the outhouse!

Total Electric. 20 degrees F outside 60F inside and pretty much stays that way year round.

When next we move I hope we have propane as a backup. My health won't let me cut wood anymore. Plus I've been reading that Solar is coming down in price and that in 2005 we might get the alternative energy discount taxwise. Finger crossed but waiting to see.
