We're doing the low-carb diet....1 piece of bacon, 2 pieces sausage, slice of cold ham, & 2 cups of coffee.

I fix myself fresh eggs and homemade bread, toasted, almost every day, but today it was thick rolled oats with cinnamon and brown sugar, and tea to drink.

Chunks of mild cheddar cheese.
A bowl of oatmeal with raisins, granny smith apple chunks, and milk from my own cow.

Last thing
Your timing was impecable as today is different than many.
Today the last thing I ate just before reading this question was two soda crackers, washed down with a cup of hot tea. (I'm out of coffee.)

I just ate dinner. I had cottage cheese with fresh frozen rhubarb on it. Next I had a slice of butter bread with rhubarb poured all over it. Then the last thing I had was a buritta shell heated up with butter and homemade cherry jam on it. Rolled up and cut into little short rolls. It just plum tickled my innards.

Coffee (gotta, gotta, gotta have the coffee), and a papaya boat (1/2 papaya, couple spoonfulls of yogurt, sprinkling of granola, 1/2 banana chopped up, and a drizzle of honey).
Come to think of it, that other papaya half is looking really good right now...

Wow, everyone drinks coffee! First thing I drink in the morning is water. I go from the bed, to the restroom , to the refridgerater for cold filtered well water. Then I go to the computer, and drink the cold water while checking for orders, and checking out homesteadingtoday. That's what I drink all day too. Every now and them I might have a bit of pop.
I love capaccino (don't want to find out how to spell it), but I got some a while back, and it was SOOO sweet. Blech. I all I could think was this is full of fat and corn syrup. Couldn't eat it. It needed to be cut in half by regular coffee.

Sausage and gravy over biscuits. Just like I eat at least 4 times a week. And a half gallon of milk.

I eat a lot...have to every two to three hours or I get headaches and stomach growlings!
For breakfast, I ate a scrambled egg, half slice of wheat toast with butter, coffee and juice. Would have had cereal with it, but didn't have enough time.
For snack I had a cup of tea with lemon and sugar, an apple and two whole wheat high fiber crackers and a homemade oatmeal raisin cookie (shouldn't have, but I couldn't help myself).
For Lunch I ate a cold meatloaf and cheese sandwich before I had to go pick up my son from day care, and I'm now finishing my lunch with a homemade bowl of vegetable soup I made yesterday - potatoes, carrots, celery, broccoli and other assorted mixed veggies in chicken broth with a couple slices of crumbled bacon mixed in for good measure...crockpotted all afternoon. (Can't believe I'm actually eating BROCCOLI!!!) A few Annie's Organic wheat crackers to round it off. Another couple cups of tea. I love tea.
Unfortunately, the only homemade thing I ate today was the soup. However, I buy nearly everything at our food co-op, so lots of it is local.

Breakfast
One-half pot coffee (Nancy had the other half).
Two halves of English Muffin, one with peanut butter, the other with honey ( I love honey). She has both halves with peanut butter.
One-half banana (Nancy had the other half).
Alex
This is a silly thread, and interesting.

Well I actually cooked a decent meal. I'm single and cooking for just me is difficult so I don't do it as much as I should. I'm just finishing up a dinner of venison, potatoes, green beans with ham (all home grown and the deer I just shot) and some homemade bread and butter. Polishing off the remnants a 2-liter bottle of Diet Coke I had with dinner. My one really bad habit I have is diet pop. I don't smoke or drink so I guess the pop isn't so bad. I go through 4 or 5 2-liter bottles a week more or less.

Oh my gosh, Quint, you have got to stop drinking that junk! Just don't drink it for a couple weeks, after that you won't want it so bad. Just drink water for a while, and it will get to be what you want to drink.
BTW, you ever watch gunsmoke (your name)?

I made fresh venison sausage this afternoon and I just finished sampling it to verify that I had the seasoning correct. Wasn't to shabby even if I have to say so myself!
