Heavy frost & snow the past two days in western NY. I forgot how much fun it was to change the critter's water when the bottles & buckets are frozen solid.

I'm near KincoraFarm and HilltopDaisy, and yes it's too cold . I'm not ready for this yet and the chickens said they aren't either. They also wanted to know what that white stuff was. I let them out yesterday morning and the lead hen just stoped and looked at me like DUH! and turned around and went back in the coup.

Winter? Heck, we've hardly started summer. Not too many days yet this season have topped 30° (that's Celcius = 88° Fahrenheit).

We got a couple inches of snow Friday in Northern Maine. Flurries each day since then. Today is was 12 degrees when I got up, Brrrrrrrr.
