Both Act 60 and Act 68 have provision for "Homestead Exemptions" or discounts on the statewide school property tax for your home and two acres of your property based on your current income level.
To qualify you'd need to have an income which falls below the set point. Your property tax prebate is then based upon a sliding scale percentage of your income... anything in excess of that "allowable percentage" is refunded to you in a prebate check. Usually in August.
