Because my critter life is more important than a personal life, I am on a swing shift. It gives me all morning and daylight year round to play in the dirt. The barn is 80 feet from the house, and if I have a nighttime need, I stretch a 90' cord and plug in a lamp. I've seen a few truck drivers use a light strapped on their head at night, it keeps thier hands free to tie the loads.
