yea, I knew about keeping the buttons inside. I can remember snapping buttons, too.

I do not have a wringer but I have 2 sets of tubs, a double set with the long lid so it is similar to a table and a set of single tubs. I use a single tub to store dirty laundry in the basement.

just get you a set of wringers and you are set. a new bath room plunger wirks great in a tub, to get clothes clesn. lert them soak for a few minutes, then plunge them a while, and put through wringers. and you are all set. there ya go, wash whening TSHIF, and the grid is down.

I have a 1940s Kenmore wringer washer and I have never used it. The guy I bought it from said the draining part of it froze up one winter. What can I do for it does anyone know, because I will have to us it this winter.

tyr it and see if it works. if it doesn't get ahold of leahmensstore, in Ohio, they are on line. they can tell you who to contact, for a part, or who can fix it, or how too, great place, and great people.

Well, I got sick again, after doing 6 loads in the cold and am just now feeling better.... now, I need to get the first batch put away.. OYE!

You know, I look forward to the day when I can say that the laundry & dishes are DONE! forever, ya know?!?!
