The vet took a look at the cat in question this morning, and she's healthy. No urinary tract infection he could detect. So I really am thinking the problem is that she doesn't like to be shut in at night. We have coyotes and cougars around here, so having her roaming around at night just isn't an option. She seemed to do fine in the critter barn last night, and she's sleeping inside on the couch now - we'll see if that arrangement works out.
I've soaked the soiled areas with the NM, if that hasn't worked by the time harvest is over I'll check out the skunk stuff.
