I saw an add a few weeks ago in our local paper for horse care classes geared towards people who knew nothing about them to learn before they purchased one. I thought it was a great idea, I think the lady was charging $90 for 2-2 hour sessions. I would invest in a class like that if I was buying an animal I couldn't eat! It would take up less time and privacy than having people stay on your farm. And you probably have other skills you could market too, or once you get your students out there, you could show them your fruit/veggie stand on the way out

Don,
Thank you very much for the copy of your book. Downloaded it yesterday but have not had time to go over it. Looking forward to reading it. Have at this time just looked though it.
It looks very interesting to say the least.
Thank you again.

Read Gene Logsdon's new book, All Flesh is Grass. Also, Joel Salatin's books.

I have turned off their spam editor as apparently it was blocking some requests. As far as I know at the moment (Friday evening - 10/29) I have sent to out to everyone in the system. If you have requested in the past and didn't receive a copy, all I can say is to keep trying.

It is a very large attachment file (about 1Meg). Some systems, such as hotmail.com and webtv.net, cannot handle it. You will need to have it sent to another provider. Perhaps your work PC or a friends, etc.

And, yes, it really is free. It is not share-ware.

P.S. One party has apparently become upset because they requested the book via PM and I told them the request needed to be direct to my e-mail account. Sorry, but if someone doesn't follow directions, I do not feel obligated to respond.
For those interested, I suppose I am the "one party" that has become upset. I suppose he posted this because he wants to talk about it openly... so just to clarify. My PM was pretty simple. (I deleted it so let me apologize if it is not exact) but it said basically, "Really interested in your ebook, could you send a copy to xxxxxx (my email address), thanks"

To which I got the reply
"Please read the directions. You have to send a request to...xxxx (his email address"

My reply was simple.

"Oops sorry for bothering you, have a good night"

Not really to upset. (well not to his demand to "read the directions" at least, although since he felt the need to post his P.S. I should say THAT was annoying)

Most moderators are usually pretty friendly and helpful. Lesson learned. When dealing with Ken, PLEASE make sure to follow directions. Otherwise you too may get mentioned anonymously in a "P.S." LOL

I don't feel obligated to deal with unkind people. [wink]
