I think the scientists are correct when they say there is no one specific cause.

I also think it has little to do with most of the chemicals you see being sprayed on farmer's fields

The definition of pesticide agrees with your definition. So you are correct on this.

I guess time will tell us more about the effects they have on the bees and other life forms on this earth.
