Back in the mid 90's I ordered an orchard pack from Starks that had pears, apples (4) cherries, peaches (3) and 2 plums in the pack. We worked and planted and watered these all summer. During the winter, and it was a mild one, all but 2 apple trees died. Wrote to Starks and told them, no response. Now the 2 apple trees have apples on them and they are the worst apples I have ever seen, they are green with black spots on them and hard as rocks. I have tried cooking them and they taste flat. No flavor at all. Needless to say, I would never order from Starks again nor would I recommend them to any one to order from. Good luck to all who do.

And ya know, I have apple trees and currants from Starks and I am so pleased! One year in ground my Champagne currant is loaded with currants. A family member that I sent one of these to in Ohio had a few currants last year and should have a good harvest this year.

If I'm not pleased with any product or service that I pay for you can bet your last dollar I will not give the vendor one moment of peace until things are made right.

A big box store had what I would call a deceptive add about a cutting tool. I went out after work in -18 degrees with a stiff wind blowing to buy it for DH per his request. Well after a lot of rigamarole/fertilizer I had talked to cashiers and managers to not much avail. It was then that we told the store and the corporate office it would be feasible for us to get a permit to pick it the store, one old lady and one older gentleman with a walker in -0 degree temps. And we WOULD have after we got a permit and understood what we needed to do so as not to get a lawsuit or fine. Long story short, they found the article that was on sale and sold it for the price they had advertised it. If you are unhappy with a purchase be as tenacious as an Irish mom protecting her potatoes...
