Snow can be a good thing?

Some snow is good and greatly needed. But near waist deep snow like we had last year is just a bit too much - kind of like dumping the whole shaker of salt on your eggs.

Wish we would have had just half of what fell last year but it was no where near that much down here. We could be in a very very dry spell now. We need that deep snow falls for a good soil moisture. We are not going to get that this year unless we get plenty of rain~! Watch out for wildfires now up nort.
And with getting into the 60's for a few days this week all our snow will be gone and drying up. Not a Good Start at all for soil moisture.
