I shouldn't be reading this at 10 pm. Time to go to sleep but now I'm all fired up to build a greenhouse.

Love the pics. Good luck with it.

My crew charged me food and lodging. It's nice to have a big family!

Tomato seedlings are up this morning. Felt a bit like shouting.

Very nice pictures. I like the set up around your greenhouse with the fence and the rock edging on the garden beds. Just beautiful.

Thanks so much Mutz Farm. We are really into flower beds and raising vegetables and herbs sot it is fun to put it all together. The roses and flowers will really fill in this summer and that will be nice.

Over the weekend a couple people asked me if we have a landscaping business. Kind of flattering. If we did do it for a business there would not be any mowing and blowing involved. It would strictly be on the gardening side. I'm not sure there is much demand for building beds and greenhouses though.

It's wrapped around on the ends and nailed in with lathe to the end wall boards. On the bottom edge we did the same thing to the wood frame at ground level. It's a snug fit. We've had some winds of about 15 mph. so far and it seems good.

Here's a few more pics from this morning. It's so cool to see the mystery of growing plants coming through the soil. These are zucchini squash, lettuce and tomatoes.

I just love watching other people work. It was fun looking at your pictures of that wonderful stage of new and shiny with all the weeds gone. The fence is very nice especially.

Thank you. I could spend ALL my time doing things like this if I didn't need to pay bills so much. We are working toward that though. Leaves are coming out on the roses. Seedlings are coming along to help fill in the bed. It will just get prettier.

Electric company is at the house right now bringing power to the greenhouse and garage so extension cords can go away. Digging those trenches was very hard work in our Georgia clay, but glad it is getting done. They're putting a 50 amp box in the garage and running a line from there to the greenhouse. I can build things, but electricity is not something I feel comfortable messing around with.

I love seeing the miracle that is new life!!

Planting a tiny seed and watching it grow into a beautiful plant is so rewarding!

Yes! One man/woman plants the seeds....but God makes them grow. There is a wonder about that process and I'm sure that is why.

Contender peaches blossom beautifully, herbs and zinnias begin to emerge from the soil, buttercup squash seedlings shrug shoulders and stand up and power comes to the new greenhouse. Yippee

Now that is something you just don't read every day! LOL We don't have a single rock here ... 2.55 acres of fine ashtray sand.
