This might come in handy too (although if you "Google" crosscut saw sharpening, and look at the images, many have made their own custom jigs.)

I have 5 chain saws. If I have to resort to a hand saw I think I will just shoot myself and get it over with.

+1 on the champion tooth. They're easier to buck with than a perforated lance, especially on small diameter wood (less than 12"). A 4'-5' Disston #954 is an excellent saw. If patient you should be able to get it on Ebay for less than 75.00 , or 25.00-30.00 on Craigslist. A good filer can make it sing:
