I just got ours brush hogged once by a neighbor. Paid $50 an hour.
Brought in goats. Put two calves of my another neighbor. A horse from another. The land looks so groomed lol.

Another wise gentleman nearby brings the called each year in March. Butcher's them in November before thanks giving. There are 45+ in his family. Organic pasture raised may goes to the entire family.

Yes! That's what I have had for the last 10 years or so. A DR Brush Mower!
It will Cut It Down!
It is a Walk-behind Machine, though. And, I have to "Cut the Brush! about once or twice a year.

I have about a 3 Acre, bottom ground with a lot of huge trees, spaced liberally around, that I have to Mow around, that I keep mowed.
My Dear Wife fusses at me, that I need to only do it once a year. And, I am 75 years Old. So yeah! It's getting a little harder to get to it!, each year. Another year or Two and I may have to start hiring it done. That'd be a lot easier, on the :Old Man". I'm thinking about it. And Dear Wife keeps Fussing..........

Works well in my neck of the woods for food plots. Be careful with the wildfire though. Have the local VFD help you if possible.

I am a 73 yr old female and I have used the DR Field & Brush Mower (older model) since 1995. It is an 8 Hp with electric start and heavy duty blade. Anything it can push over, it can chop up. I've even gone over 1-1/2" saplings, cutting them down to the ground. It is a walk-behind and, due to the pain in my hip, it is getting more difficult to keep walking over uneven ground with this thing; however, it is self-propelled and will actually pull me uphill. Thus, I suspect I'll be using it for awhile to come. (Being an older model I did have problems finding new tires; however found some at Northern Tools and my repair man had no trouble putting them on the old wheels.)

I actually use this to cut orchard grass to feed my goats during winter months...easy to do with this machine.
