I figure it's a lot like juggling a lot of balls in the air. I don't always do it right, and sometimes I drop all the balls. But isn't it fun trying?

Life is truly good. Having to choose between mushroom hunting, riding my horses, or digging in the garden is a life of abundance.

On top all this I keep hearing about "ramps and fiddleheads",neither of which I have had before and really want to try.And thank God for rainy days so I can get back inside and finish the bathroom I'm trying to put in the basement!
I like metal detecting when I have time,Hunting squirrel ,rabbit ,quail, dove ,goose and deer.
You know I have to dig some Ginseng and yellowroot,And there's a trap line to run and putting up furs. And that comes in the later part of the canning season!Hopefully I've killed enough fish to make my own fish oil for trapping, and I love to throw a game of horseshoes and play pool when I can.
So how do you find time to take care of the chickens, beekeeping, composting, and other homesteading things let alone going out to make a living?
Seems the older I get the more interests I have and the less time to participate in them!
Do y'all do this too or is it just me?

Wade
Have enough to do if one thing gets boring can drop it for something else that needs done.

Yes I do.
I can do most anything and that gets me in trouble. I have to plan my weeks and days. If a new project pops up it takes it's place in line.

And one day all my "to do" things will be done....lol! Who am I kidding?
My trouble causing phrase is "I can make that"

Mine is more like to many interests and not enough money to do them all. I think I have enough projects on the list for the rest of my life without adding any new ones.
