I have a pair of the fleece lined Duluth trading fire hose , I wouldn't pay full price for them but If I can get a pair on the bargain rack at the outlet store in Bellville I will

I find poly long underwear a more versatile choice

http://www.farmandfleet.com/products...l#.VKVzJXt9Y24

these are like a fleece long underwear , they also wash and dry very fast unlike lined jeans , and you have the ability to mix and match a bit more

and when I shed my pants I just continue wearing my thermals around the house this way I can keep the house temp down in the 60s on the thermostat and just heat with the fire

both are nice options but the flannel lines ones and I have had some , my son has some and my dad wears them about all winter , the flannel ones take more time to dry after a wash and when you sweat them up

this is my issue I can soak right through working at 20 degrees with just a light jacket on I need to control the moisture because I will get really cold very fast when I stop working that hard and the fleece and layers does a better job than cotton

I go with my 100% cotton long johns which provide even more warmth since they are a true layer rather than a lining. What I find interesting is that it very difficult to find 100% cotton long johns yet these 100% cotton lined jeans are becoming popular? Try to find 100% cotton long johns some time! Only Indera Mills has them at a reasonable price and you must buy online. JC Penneys used to sell some but no more. I can not tolerate synthetics or even wool next to my skin.

not sure why your having a problem finding the cotton waffle weave long johns they are at all the farm and fleet stores , I expect fleet farm has them also

http://www.farmandfleet.com/products...l#.VKWaxXt9Y24

they are still popular with many here but the thermal fleece are getting more popular , the cotton just hold to much moisture for me first week of December you could have all the cotton and thin polyester you wanted at farm and fleet but had to work had to find a xl or 2xl in the thermal fleece

Thanks! No Fleet Farm or Farm and Fleet near me. But I can order online at the link you provide. Nice price too! But truthfully, you can not find 100% cotton long johns in any stores around here. All are a blend with synthetic.
