Buying furniture on CL?

I don't have any upholstered furniture in my house since I have a few very old indoor dogs. But I have bought a few things on CL, as well as thrift stores, goodwill etc. I found a beautiful cedar blanket chest for 80.00 on CL. I had to air it out since it smelled like smoke. But it cleared up eventually. I have also found an antique phonograph that works for 100.00, wooden benches, dressers and lots more. I LOVE bargain furniture from these sources!

I bought a couch for $55 and a matching chair for $22.50 at a local thrift. Oh, my friends and family were horrified...watch out B E D B U G S!!! I just needed to wash them, no evidence of any bugs, but spraying anyway. Reports in my town? ZERO



This is before I bought them, at the thrift. I buy from CL and also sell, never any issues.
