I fixed my vacuum cleaner. I ground Boston pork butt and made a wonderful bratwurst. I got some cleaning done. Dad has been in the hospital and Mom is sick with bronchitis. I have been checking in on them too. I picked up matching Christmas pjs for our DGS and his new baby brother or sister who is due to arrive next month. I am trying to get things done before the baby is born.

Well today for the first time since my wife became ill, I kept my three year old grandson. I am new here and posted in Introductions last night. I keep GS two to three days a week.
Harry Chickpea and pattycake like this.

I got up at 5 to make it to wrk by 630. put more wood in the stove before I left so DH doesn't get too cold while sleeping (he works evenings 3pm-2am). took a little while to clean off the truck (it snowed yesterday), then came on in to the hospital where I work as a respiratory therapist. After DH woke up and sent a text to me, I got him to throw a flake or two of hay to the goats that are still at our place (rest are at the other property and we fed them a bale last night). he'll go over and check/water the cattle and goats again today before he goes into work. then I'll come home and check the chickens/gather eggs/spoil the cat by letting him in... lol.
I might pester my mom into making supper for us (minus DH) . she is watching my cousins kids today since my aunt (their gma) is sick and couldn't. mom will usually fix supper for everyone and we'll eat together since we live relatively close. we act like a nice, normal, happy family... lol. really, we put the fun in dysfunction.
