Squirrels are best with white gravy and biscuits

I haven't read all the thread so sorry if this is a repeat.

At a previous house with a fenced back yard, I was having trouble with the tree rats getting in the attic. I finally picked up an air riffle with a scope. I usually took position inside the house. One of my girls would hold the window open for me and I would take em out! The first Sat I got 15 of them. We had that many of them. The next Sat I got 5 or 6, but we were still getting them in the attic. Finally I got the bad one and found where they were getting in. HA! I got so good that I was taking them out even if they were in the front yard. I wouldn't let the barrel of the riffle stick out the window. I would be back a couple of feet. No one could hear a thing. You have to be a good shot but with that scope I was. I would drop them where they stood. A neighborhood cat or owl would get them in the night. After a while there were no tree rats within a block of our house. Word got out to STAY AWAY from that house. I didn't see another for a year or more. They were all over the rest of the neighborhood but knew better than to come near me.

COWS
The squirrels will eat my apples and they try to store them everywhere. Probably half of my apples that I pick each year have squirrel bites in them.

What's not to like?
They taste like rabbit.
It is all in the way you cook them.

There is acres and acres of "woods" right behind me, yet those pesky little ******** chose to do bit time damage on my place.

shoot--shovel----and smile...
What a waste!
Who shoots squirrels with a shot gun?
I always shot them in the head with a .22 but now it is just a very old pump up .177 pellet pistol.
