You are being rotten to the people you release the cats near - you are dumping your problems in their places.
What you're doing is probably also illegal.
It's your problem - deal with it.
Do not relocate animals.

Probably money too.
I used to do lots of hunting but got to where I hate to kill an animal. Don't get me wrong, I think hunting is the right thing for people to do esp deer hunting because of population numbers. I like meat too. It is no longer for me BUT if hungry, I would have no problem killing. I go to the grocery store and hire my killing done.
Had some feral cats coming up on my back porch and peeing. Got them and a male dog on my game camera. I caught a cat this AM and did the deed because it is not right for me to do the same thing that someone has done to me. Like it or not,I will continue to set my trap and get rid of the cats. If the person that had originally dumped the cats here in my part of the woods, had done the right thing, then I would not have to be dealing with it now. Deal with your problems and don't cast them off on someone else. The best thing to do is to have your animals spayed.
By the way, cats love sardines.
