Ah. I missed that 1, which was separated from the other numbers by a space for some reason

It was a really easy mistake. You were not the only one.

That is funny! I posted on a thread, about daylight savings... Spring forward, Fall backward... Wow, one person kept arguing, flat resisting it was the opposite. The net was to blame...

While you do get a lot of useful info off the net, I absolutely never rely on it to base most of my decisions off of. Lately, my friends have been complaining about the recipes off some site. I started laughing... Yep, have textbooks and reference books galore If the power goes out, I will never run out of reading material... Obviously, bugging out isn't my plan.

Well, who knew I'd ruffle so many feathers by just answering a simple question to help a friend? Anyone who knows Bill knows that numbers aren't his strong suit and, knowing him pretty well, I don't see him changing much.

I don't feel the need to play the "who can do it better" contest, as I have every confidence in my own abilities, have no problems with even the most difficult math equations and don't need to beat a horse to death to prove my point. I, too, marvel at the people who can't count out change, etc., but I don't feel the need to be rude enough to put them down for it.

If I said something offensive in some way to start all this brouhaha, then I do apologize. However, maybe people need to look into their own hearts to find out why they can be so easily offended or so quick to find fault with others just because they don't do it their way.

There sure seem to be a lot of quick triggers on HT lately and it's a shame. The boards have been unusually slow, and this sort of thing is probably a lot of the reason why. I'll be moving along to more pleasant reading now. I hope everyone has a lovely Sunday and a great week.

None of the posts are mean, actually they are pretty funny, and no one is picking on Bill! He has a good sense of humor

I am trying to figure out who is offended...I give up, who?

Since "teaching" was my thing, have a bad habit of wanting to help others when I can. I memorize formulas, but that isn't necessary for everyone else to. DH keeps a list of the most common formula's he uses. He never remembers how to figure out a tip. DH is flat brilliant, too.

Post a thread, get responses
