What are the easements and right of ways on that road? Our office is currently handling no less than 4 road disputes. I'd not want to be unable to access my property because of one so I'd be checking into that before even thinking about the house.

There is a main public paved road that touches the property line so road accessibility is not an issue. All we would have to do is lay down a road from the main road right onto the property. No other roads will be share but the public road that everyone uses to get to their properties.

No. The public road runs along in front of all of those houses and continues for a few miles until it runs into another public road.

Mmm. Be very sure of who owns that road is all I'm going to say. In our lawsuits they are roads that everyone in the area uses to get to their homes. I'm sure they thought they were "public". They aren't though. They are not owned by the county, city or state. They are privately owned and if you don't have the right papers you'd suddenly find yourself screwed.

I'm very sure that it is owned by the county. It is a county paved and owned road.

I'm a pain in the arse, I know, but I live on "County Road ____" The county doesn't own it though. As a collective the neighborhood sued the county over the road and lost because they didn't "own" it. This was before we moved there. Anyway, just saying.

The only question I have is - why did they cut out this portion from the other property - you would think that they would have divided up the land along existing boundries - kinda weird - don't you think - cutting parts of fields and woods away from the rest - I personally would like my land in the shape of a square or rectangle - not zigzaging all over the place - pretty tough to post no hunting signs along the marked boundary -

That was just an old farm road. Once the land is sold that dirt road will no longer exist so to speak.

Yeah I would rather it be straight lines everywhere too but at the bottom where it zags the worse is the creek bed. They used the creek as a property line which I don't like. They cut through fields and such to makes sure everyone had road usage and the same amount of acreage.

Everyone digs their own well and electricity can be ran anywhere it's needed. Rural country here. No city water or shared water.

The well? That would be good. What are your thoughts on using the beaver pond for irrigation?
