What type of ride-on lawn mower?

I have a John Deere x304, bought it oh... 8 years ago, there abouts. All the wheels turn, so it turns pretty tight.
Can also pull a little dump trailer with it and so on. Has come in handy.

We have just done maintenance on it, until last fall.
One of the spindles for the mower deck died and we had to replace it. Took 8 years before we had to replace anything, so I am not complaining.

The thing just keeps going.... so far, has been really reliable and trouble free.

I have regular john deere and craftsman riding lawn mowers for suburbia. Mow 5 acres of very hilly and very lumpy in some areas land, tall and weedy, too. They do just fine.
Thought about those fancy, expensive, ones, but no need for em yet...

Thanks everyone. When I said "tractor type" I meant just a ride-on that "looks" like a tractor. I only need it for mowing. I am leaning towards a ZTR.

Unfortunately, DH was talking to the neighbor this morning who called his friend, who just came and picked up the JD saying "I'm pretty sure I can fix this"

I am thinking of taking a course in mind-control.
