Considering the date of your post and the appearance of a mold mark (sprue) at the very center of the inside of the bowl I'm going to guess that the object in question is made of plastic and you were playing an early April fool on everyone.
Before too many read this you should quickly post the item on eBay as a rare Canadian, Huron Indian, glazed stoneware, chow feeding dish.

Spoiled it for me! I was going to give Tiempo a hard time about the Tribe taking her property as an old burial ground.....

It looks late 50's to early 60's. I remember seeing one at my great uncle's place when I was a kid (northwest lower pennisula in the late 60's). He used it for watering his dogs (all who were named 'Jack' )
