Damson Plums
Many years ago my Ex-in-laws lived on a place where they had 2 or 3 Damson Plum trees. They got tons of very small plums each year that were mostly seed.
My dear Ex-MIL made wonderful Plum jelly and jam from those Damson plums.
I think they might just be a variety of wild Plum, but I'm not sure.
They never gave those trees any attention, except to pick the plums each year.
The plums were kinda tart, but good.

There is a local family that collects and raises many different varieties of wild plums to use for making jam, wine, etc...

Unfortunately, I think they may be going out of business. I will try and check into it and see if they may be willing to sell some scions off their stock.
