How to trap a mouse?

Here is mine:



I set it up and about 20 minutes later the first mouse was in there. I went to bed and woke up to this:

Those mice look like young ones.

I put anti- freeze in my bucket trap and get very little smell from the dead mice.

I had a mouse like this in my kitchen for weeks and he kept eating all of the p. butter out of the trap but not getting caught.
I tried a glue trap and in 30 minutes he was stuck and gone.

I used chunky peanut butter and I jammed the chuck in there HARD! Some mice will lick peanut butter off, but when it is gone they will want that chucnk of peanut and that requires force, which springs the trap.
