I think one of these will fit the bill for you, but be aware that without a fan, it will take a long time to heat up a room, as this works more like a convection heater. I prefer the kind with open fins so a small low-powered fan will blow through the fins and gently move the air around and not cool it off. Also, my feeling is the open fins have more surface space so the heating is dispersed more efficiently.
