Ditto on plowhand's concern of a wood over gas system. My wife found a beautiful wood cookstove on eBay. While craigslist is typically a convenient option to find local goods, it is also an incredible risk with the levels of fraud and false advertising. Do not jump too quickly as you will certainly get what you pay for. For what its worth, unless gas/wood is what you've always wanted, I'd pass on anything this cheap after being "restored". What was broke and why, who fixed it and how, and if they can't safely fire it up while you look at it, walk away with your money. The advantage to eBay is each seller has a feedback from their previous buyers and sellers which makes choosing a trustworthy seller much more simple. It can't hurt to search eBay for your current location, your soon-to-be location, and any point in between in which you might stop and pick it up inyour moving truck along the way. We drove about 3 hours north for ours but it was totally worth it! The sellers were great people too with a 100% feedback. If I can help you at all with the eBay side or search, I'd be happy to help. I am a decade+ long 100% feedback eBay member. Happy hunting.
