Those are the ones I was looking at specifically.

I hate trying to find good jeans.

I didn't see that one. Thanks.

I'll have to see if Sears has them in stock. I like to try them on before buying several pair.

If you find them, let me know. I am the same way, and I hate ordering them without knowing how they'll fit.

Confirm on Duluth.

I finally wore out a pair of their 'firehose' jeans and sent them back. Got a new pair in return, no hassle. I love their lined jeans....wear 'em all winter.

I will have to look at the lined jeans for outside work. Thanks for the recommendation.

I don't know their quality, but the John Carter mailorder catalogue has men's fleece and flannel lined jeans.
I gave up on women's jeans long ago and now am wearing a men's jean and a men's carpenter pants.

Carharts denim carpenter jeans. I bought three pair and took them to mom to have them hemmed & she said it was the first time she found 'good thread' in a long time.

I knew this would be the group to ask...You all gave me so many good suggestions, now I'm having a tough time making up my mind! While I do prefer to try on pants before I buy them to see if I like the fit, that's not really an option near me without driving a ways. The tractor supply here has maybe 1 or 2 racks at most for women's clothing. Too many fancy fashion stores for women's clothing nearby I guess. Those fleece and flannel lined pants looks so WARM!

IndyGardenGal, Sears didn't have the industrial Dickies jeans. Just regular pants which had spandex, were thin as tissue, and needed to be washed in cold water.

Bummer. Amazon has men's carhartt jeans that are 15oz for $30 a pair right now.

Filson tin pants. Buy them once every 6 years. Made in the USA too.

I wear the original Levi 501 jeans. The original "shrink to fit" with the orange stitching is still heavy and thick denim.
The OTHER 501s are the thin & fashionable crap that wears out in a year or two...

Just wanted to give an update. I finally decided to try out the Dickies jeans. I ordered 4 different pairs of pants, since the ones I picked out were on sale. I also found a coupon code online for an additional 20% off!

I received them yesterday in the mail. I ordered their flannel lined jeans, one of the industrial jeans, the carpenter industrial jeans and some black cargo pants. I ordered a size up from the pants I get at Old Navy since they don't have any spandex in them, and I'm glad I did! One pair fits pretty snugly, two fit just right, and one is definitely not sized right as its over an inch too big at the waist and the legs are too big. I will have to wear a belt with that pair.

All the pants are listed as mid rise on the waist. I absolutely hate pants that go up to my belly button. These pants are all at least an inch lower, and the front part of the jeans lays pretty close to were my old navy jeans sit. The back of these jeans don't sit as low. Which is nice as I don't feel I'm going to have to pull them up before bending down to get something off the ground, or risk being mistaken for a plumber!

The material on the two industrial ones does feel a bit sturdier then my old jeans. All the pants I ordered are 100% cotton. I have not washed them yet, but I will be line drying them to keep them from shrinking as they fit nicely, well minus the one pair that's too big.

The inseams are definitely for tall ladies, or women who wear heels! I'm about 5'6 and got regular length inseam and they are too long, even with my shoes on, I'm going to need to roll the bottom up.

I like the cargo pants, wish they had them in a grey color too. The only issue I have with them is that the back pockets are not really useful. You could probably get your license in it, and that's about it. The pockets on the leg have a velcro closure. They definitely look better in person than on their website. I thought they might end up washed out looking but they aren't.

That's all I've got for now. If they don't hold up to my wear and tear, I'll be back to let you know. Their pants are on sale through their website, and there is a discount code available online if you search.

IMO, you just can't go wrong with relaxed fit wranglers.

This thread reminded me of this article. I wish I could justify getting myself a pair of jeans from this woman. As it is, I usually buy most of my "farming" jeans at the Goodwill. At $3-4 a pair, they still last pretty long and it doesn't hurt so much when they die.
